Tonight I got home, sat and waited for another email to come through regarding my presale MJ ticket reservation – I’m feeling like Charlie when he bought that last bar of Wonka chocolate hoping for a golden ticket. Then I refresh my email – THERE’S AN EMAIL THERE FROM MICHAELJACKSONLIVE.COM – THIS COULD BE IT…but instead of IT, I get this steaming piece of turd:

Michael Jackson Presale Update!

Thank you for registering for your chance to join the Michael Jackson presale. You might have heard the exciting announcement that we have now sold the presale ticket allocation for 30 shows.

But here’s the really good news! Michael Jackson has agreed to add even more shows, so you still have a chance to get tickets on presale. We will be back in action at 7am (GMT), tomorrow 12 March.

If you havent yet received a presale code theres still a chance you will. So keep your eyes peeled and keep checking your inbox!

And remember if you miss out on the presale there will be tickets available on every show at the public on sale from 7am (GMT) 13 March

So regardless of the fact that I registered for presale tickets before the press conference had finished, I now have to continue to wait and hope I get a code before 7am (highly unlikely) or join the public scrum for tickets on Friday (where I’ll probably not have an internet connection at 7am thanks to staying in a hotel) but you’ve got my details to market crap concerts and merchandise to me?

You’d think looking at the time I registered for the presale, when the additional dates were released, I’d have been given a code. Obviously not. Michael, I’m feeling really very par’d by your AEG Live friends right now. Even worse than that is the only tickets you can buy on general sale at the moment are Thriller Hospitality Package tickets but good seats + champagne VIP reception (incl. red carpet) + after show party (with no guarantee of Michael showing) + goodie bag does not = the £790 they want for EACH TICKET!

Looks like I’ll be pulling out my Moonwalker VHS and wishing I was there just like I did in the 80′s and 90′s…
