The album bass music fans have been waiting for finally has a release date. Joker’s debut album, The Vision, will be released on November 7th / 8th on the 4AD imprint.

Prior to this, new tracks Here Come The Lights and My Trance Girl, are being released on a 12” and as a download on September 12th.

Following on from the Radio 1 and 1Xtra playlisted The Vision (Let Me Breathe), both stations got involved with Here Come The Lights being given its first play in the coveted Hottest Record In The World spot on the Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show, quickly followed by MistaJam spinning it on their sister station. It highlights the young producer’s maturing sound, continuing to playfully subvert pop conventions. The track also features a bombastic and memorable vocal performance from Silas from Turboweekend.

My Trance Girl is a futuristic six-minute instrumental, more in line with what first hooked Joker fans; its muscular vintage-Sega aping synths and sharp drum snaps a nod to his roots in Bristol’s fecund dance music scene.
