GFrsh is back with new material! After being snapped up by Disturbing London (the team behind Tinie Tempah) and before he unleashes his major label debut in the new year, he’s took the time to give us ‘Purgatory’ – an EP that contains the track I’ve been heavily supporting on 1Xtra – ‘Alone’.

Great concept behind the EP – for those of us that paid attention in theology class, Purgatory is said to be that state we go into when we die – not quite paradise, but no longer living. As an artist GFrsh is in that realm with his career – not quite underground & unknown and not quite mainstream & infamous. Here’s hoping he gets rightful passage! With the strength of these tracks, I’m sure he’ll sail it through. Standouts for me include ‘Hands Up’ featuring The Thirst, ‘Dolla Dolla’ featuring Goldielocks and of course ‘Alone’ featuring Arrows Down.
